Foreword

Pursuant to the European Regulation No. 679/2016 (hereinafter “Regulation”) and the national legislation on the protection of personal data (hereinafter collectively “Privacy Legislation”), Pack Srl invites you to carefully read this Privacy Policy which contains important information on the protection of your Personal Data.

The processing of your Personal Data will be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, purpose limitation and storage, minimization and accuracy, integrity and confidentiality, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations.

1. DATA CONTROLLER

The Data Controller of Personal Data is Pack Srl (hereinafter “Data Controller”) with registered office in Via Farini 6 Bologna in the person of the legal representative Giacomo Gentili.

2. DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

In compliance with the provisions of the Regulations, the Data Controller has identified and appointed a Data Protection Officer with the task of supervising compliance with the Regulations and acting as a point of contact with the parties involved in the processing as well as with the Data Protection Authority. 3. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

Personal data (such as first name, last name, date of birth, etc.).
Contact data (e-mail, address, telephone number)
Geo-location and/or Internet browsing data (including “IP” addresses) collected through technical cookies installed on your computer or mobile device (for more information consult the Cookie Policy)
Bank data useful for the management of the business relationship
Photographic images and / or video footage, collected in connection with participation in promotions, contests and events,events,exhibitions,performances and exhibitions in general.
In case a request is sent through the ” Get to know your Mentor ” section of the Site, the provision of certain Personal Data is necessary for Pack Srl to fulfill the requests, so the relevant fields of the registration form are marked as mandatory.

In addition to the aforementioned categories of Personal Data, additional data that you directly provide (so-called “Contributions”) may be processed and shared on the Social Network pages dedicated to Pack Srl (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), for the management of which please refer to the third parties that provide these services. Among the data collected through Social there are, for example, the likes, comments, images and in general any content and information that you may have posted on the pages of Social Networks dedicated to Pack Srl.

4. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

According to the requirements related to access to the various sections of the STARTUP PACK website (and without prejudice to individual initiatives involving the provision of specific Personal Data, for which specific disclosures will be published from time to time), the purposes of the processing of Personal Data and the related legal bases are indicated below:

• Marketing: subject to your express consent, we may process your Personal Data in order to send you commercial communications as well as to invite you to take part in our promotional initiatives, subscribe to our newsletter. The legal basis for such processing is the Consent of the data subject, which can be revoked at any time.
• Participation in contests, prize events: we may process your Personal Data in order to enable your participation in contests and prize operations. The legal basis for processing data for the purpose of participation in contests and prize operations is the execution of pre-contractual measures to which the data subject is a party.
• Profiling: with your express consent, we may process your Personal Data for profiling purposes i.e. to analyze or predict your tastes, potential habits and consumption choices in order to be able to offer you personalized products, services, promotions and commercial communications. The legal basis for such processing is the consent of the data subject, which can be revoked at any time.

Profiling activities could also be carried out through the use of proprietary and third-party cookies. We therefore invite you to read our Cookie Policy. Such processing may be carried out under the condition that you provide additional specific and optional consent.

Outside of the previous hypotheses:

Analysis purposes: the Personal Data you provide in the interaction with Pack Srl and the information related to the interaction will flow into our database and will be used anonymously to analyze and improve the services offered, evaluate the effectiveness of the activities and initiatives promoted by Pack Srl and conduct statistical analysis on the composition of the database itself. The legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the data controller.

Any further purposes in relation to which you have expressly provided your consent, revocable at any time.

5. NATURE OF THE PROVISION

The provision of your Personal Data is optional in nature. However, failure to provide it may affect your ability to take advantage of certain services (e.g. sending newsletters, etc.).

The mandatory or optional nature of the provision will be indicated from time to time through the use of symbols (e.g. “*”) placed next to the information whose provision is mandatory to pursue the respective purpose.

6. METHODS OF PROCESSING

Your Personal Data will be processed in accordance with the requirements of the current Privacy Law, both with the aid of electronic and automated means and manually, with logic strictly related to the purposes of processing, through the databases, electronic platforms managed by Pack Srl or third parties (appointed Data Processors), the integrated computer systems of Pack Srl and the aforementioned third parties, and/or websites owned by or in use by Pack Srl. Please note that the Glide Platform, as the Responsible Party, may have access to your email.

Your Data will be processed in ways that guarantee maximum security and confidentiality and only by persons trained and authorized to process them. The Data Controller takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk of the processing.

Personal Data are processed mainly at the offices of the Data Controller and at the locations of the Data Processors.

7. DATA RECIPIENTS

Your Personal Data may be made accessible, for the above purposes, to employees and collaborators of Pack Srl. They will not be transferred to third parties outside the activities of Pack Srl.

Finally, your Data may be transmitted to the judicial authorities where necessary and in the cases provided for by law.

8. DATA RETENTION PERIOD

In order to ensure compliance with the principles of necessity and proportionality of processing, different retention periods of Personal Data have been identified in relation to the individual purposes pursued, which may vary from 10 to 24 months based on criteria that allow for lawfulness, transparency and fairness in their use.

Billing data will be retained for a period of time suitable to ensure the proper execution of the contract and in any case for an additional 10 years for the purpose of fulfilling related administrative and tax obligations.

9. DATA OF MINORS

Pack Srl does not normally intend to collect Personal Data of minors or deliberately establish communication with them. For this reason, we encourage parents to actively monitor the online activities of children under the age of sixteen.

Nevertheless, in the event that we need to contact a child under the age of 16, parental consent or parental authority will be required, except in the case of answering a question from the latter or resolving a request from them.

10. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

You may at any time exercise against the Controller the rights provided for in Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulations, including:

(a) the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning you, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in intelligible form;

b) the right to revoke at any time the consent given by you in relation to the purposes of the processing;

c) the right to obtain access, rectification, cancellation, restriction of processing and portability of personal data;

(d) the right to object to the processing at any time you wish;

e) the right to appeal before the competent supervisory authority, if you believe that the processing of your data is contrary to the legislation in force.

11. METHODS OF EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS
